Do not stress about being 'fit enough' to start. Your first visit to Flow House begins with a mandatory movement assessment, not a drill sergeant test. We actually check your spine and core strength before you jump into group batches, so you will not feel lost or out of your depth when you join the flow.

The Reformer Reality

If you have only seen Pilates on Instagram, the machine might look intimidating. It is just a system of springs and pulleys designed to support you, not crush you. At Flow House, we use Merrithew and Stott Pilates SPX Max Reformers. These are the gold standard for resistance training. We use them to help you build a core that actually functions, not just one that looks good in photos.

What to Actually Expect

  • The Assessment: We never throw beginners into a high-intensity group class immediately. You will start with a 1-on-1 assessment to identify any posture issues or old injuries. It keeps you safe and ensures you get the most out of every session.
