About Meet The Artist
When you commission a piece, you aren't getting a quick sketch. My process involves building an image layer by layer, often spending over 65 hours on a single portrait to capture the depth in eyes or a specific smile. I work exclusively in oil and acrylics, ensuring every detail is hand-painted with no shortcuts because I want the finished piece to feel as real as the memory it represents.
My Creative Journey
After a beautiful and life-changing break for motherhood, I am so happy to be back at my favorite place: my studio in Mumbai. Art is my family legacy and my personal escape, and getting back to the easel has been such an energizing experience. Whether it is a portrait of a loved one or a large-scale tribute piece for a mentor, I treat every project with the same level of obsession.
Why Hand-Painted Matters
In a world of mass-produced decor, I focus on the opposite. I use high-quality oil and acrylic paints on fine-grain cotton canvas. My 'fat over lean' layering technique ensures that your artwork is not just for now, but for generations. When I accept a commission, I commit my full attention to it—from the initial 30-minute consultation where we align on the reference, to the final archival varnish that protects your painting from dust and UV light.

If you see a tiny hand in my background photos, that is just my niece or nephew crashing my workspace. I believe art should be a joyful, messy, and authentic process. I am currently opening up slots for 2025, and I would love to collaborate with you to create something that means something.
