About Corporate Campus: Torishima Pumps, Hosakote
We focus on mitigating the sterility often found in industrial settings. By introducing an internal steel and glass courtyard, we allow natural light to penetrate deep into the office floor, transforming how staff interacts with the built environment throughout the day.
Industrial facilities require a balance between structural efficiency and occupant comfort. For the Torishima Pumps project in Hosakote, our primary objective was to harmonize the administrative office block with the manufacturing zone. We utilized a rhythmic facade design, where angular window openings control direct sunlight to prevent heat gain while maintaining interior brightness.
The project demonstrates our commitment to material honesty. We specified textured grit plaster for the exterior, which provides weather resistance and visual depth, contrasting with the glass curtain walls of the office section. The central courtyard serves as a thermal buffer, using biophilic cooling to regulate indoor temperatures naturally. We believe that architecture in industrial areas should improve the quality of life for the workforce.
Our planning process involves strategic site zoning to optimize material flow and loading bay efficiency, ensuring that the facility functions at peak capacity without sacrificing architectural integrity. Whether dealing with PEB integration or interior space planning, our approach remains anchored in functional, sustainable design principles.
