About Newborn Portraits (The First 15 Days)
Choosing the right time is everything. I recommend booking your session while you are still in your third trimester so we can secure dates within that sweet spot of days 5 to 15, when babies are at their sleepiest and most flexible for those classic, curled-up poses.
The 'First 15 Days' rule exists for a reason. During this window, newborns are more settled, sleep deeper, and are still accustomed to being curled up, which makes those peaceful, womb-like poses possible. As a certified newborn photographer, my primary goal is your baby’s comfort and safety. The studio at Hebbal is designed to be a calm sanctuary where we take our time.
We account for plenty of time for feeds, diaper changes, and soothing breaks, which is why each session is scheduled for up to 4 hours. You never have to rush. I use only sanitized props, premium mohair wraps, and gentle posing techniques that support the baby's head and neck properly. From dreamy basket setups to those sweet, swaddled beanbag poses, every detail is handled with care.
