I specialize in safe, gentle, and cozy newborn photography for babies aged 5 to 15 days. Let's capture those fleeting, sleepy details in my relaxed Akshayanagar studio.

A classic and timeless newborn portrait. This 'head on hands' pose is a favourite among parents, showcasing the baby's peaceful sleep and tiny, perfect features. I use specific posing techniques to ensure your baby is always safe and comfortable.

The adorable 'potato sack' pose is one of the most requested styles in newborn photography. This little one is wrapped snugly in a cozy red knit wrap, keeping him warm and secure on a soft, fluffy rug.

I'm in love with this beautiful purple setup. This sweet baby girl is swaddled comfortably, resting on a tiny matching pillow. Using a single colour scheme creates such a striking and artistic newborn photograph.

A close-up shot to capture the tiniest details, from her soft cheeks to her little mouth. Holding a small felted heart adds an extra touch of sweetness to this newborn portrait.

This little bunny is just the cutest! I have a collection of adorable bonnets, headbands, and props to add a touch of personality to your newborn's photoshoot. Here, he's snuggling a tiny teddy bear.

For this floral-themed newborn shot, I created a beautiful nest of flowers for the baby to rest in. The combination of fresh flowers and a peacefully sleeping baby makes for such a breathtaking and artistic portrait.

A father holding his newborn son for the first time is a memory to cherish forever. I always encourage parents to be part of the session to capture these powerful, emotional connections.

Another variation of the 'potato sack' pose, showing how a simple wrap and headband can create an elegant and beautiful portrait. The focus here is entirely on the baby's serene expression and tiny folded hands.

A close-up of the classic potato sack pose. The rich purple wrap and delicate pearl headband create a beautiful colour contrast against the soft, cream-coloured rug.

This side-laying pose is perfect for showing off a newborn's profile and cute little bottom. I used a simple grey bonnet and wrap to create a modern, minimalist look for this baby boy's portrait.

About Dreamy Newborn Portraits

I know booking a photoshoot during the first few weeks feels like a big task. That is why I keep my Akshayanagar studio cozy, temperature-controlled, and strictly centered around your baby’s rhythm, not a clock. We dedicate 3 to 4 hours to the session, giving us all the time needed for feeding, soothing, and quiet cuddles. If your little one stays awake or gets fussy, we simply take a pause. My priority is to keep you and your baby comfortable, ensuring the environment is calm and safe while we capture these fleeting moments.

Why the 5-15 Day Window Matters

Newborns change so quickly. The 5-15 day window is my sweet spot because babies are still super sleepy and comfortable being curled up in those snug, womb-like positions. Once they pass the two-week mark, they tend to stretch out and become more alert, which is beautiful but changes the type of poses we can achieve safely.

Your Baby’s Safety is #1

As a certified newborn photographer, safety guides every decision I make. I use high-quality props, from soft wraps to tiny baskets, that are designed to support your baby gently. Whether it is the classic 'potato sack' wrap or a simple, sleepy head-on-hands pose, I use specialized techniques to ensure your baby is secure at all times. The studio is kept warm, sanitized, and very quiet to help your little one stay peaceful.

What to Expect

My sessions are never about rushing to get the shot. We have plenty of time for:

  • Feeding and Burping: Essential for a happy, sleepy baby.
  • Soothing: If the baby needs a cuddle, we take a break. You are welcome to sit back on the couch and relax.
  • Family Portraits: I always encourage parents to jump in for a few shots. These are often the photos parents end up loving the most—the raw connection of holding your newborn for the first time.

I provide a curated collection of angora bonnets, stretch wraps, and headbands, so you don't need to bring a thing for the baby. Just bring your little one, and I will handle the rest.
