About Newborn Dreams: Swaddled & Serene
Newborn sessions in my studio take 3 to 4 hours because we prioritize feeding, burping, and settling time. You do not need to stress about outfits or props, as I provide a full wardrobe of wraps, bonnets, and knitted costumes specifically for these tiny shoots.
Preparing for Your Newborn Shoot
Safety and comfort are the foundation of my work. I maintain a private, temperature-controlled studio in Bilekahalli designed specifically for 5 to 20 day old babies. My sessions are slow-paced to ensure the baby remains calm and peaceful throughout the 3-4 hour duration.
What’s Included in the Session
I offer three distinct creative setups to give you variety in your final gallery:
- Classic Posed: Clean shots using a bean bag and solid-colored fabrics that highlight your baby’s features.
- Prop-Based: Using specialized items like wooden buckets, moon props, or mini beds.
- Family Portraits: I always include time for parents and siblings to join in for those essential first family photos.
My studio wardrobe is fully stocked with wraps, headbands, and knitting costumes, so you do not need to worry about styling. I also handle professional skin retouching to ensure your photos look perfect, covering common newborn concerns like redness or jaundice.
Booking & Practical Info
- Best Timing: Book your session in advance, ideally while you are still pregnant, to ensure availability within those crucial first three weeks.
- Requirements: While I provide all the props and baby outfits, please bring your own clothes for family shots.
- Deliverables: You get 15 to 20 high-resolution retouched digital images, ready to print and frame.
