I am a 3rd Dan Black Belt and national-level competitor. I don't just teach fitness; I live it. Here is a look at my journey in the ring and how I bring that same discipline to the mat for my students at Evolution Academy.

When I stand in the ring at a national championship, it is not just for a medal. It is to prove that the techniques I teach in our Kundapura and Kota studios are effective, tested, and grounded in reality. I show up to compete so I can bring that high-level experience straight back to my students. You are not learning from a textbook; you are learning from someone who is actively fighting and refining these skills every single day.
Why I Compete
Many fitness centers are run by instructors who stopped training years ago. I believe in the 'Hustle to Greatness' mindset. By competing at the All India Inter Zonal Karate Championship and representing Karnataka, I am constantly testing my own boundaries. This is the only way to stay sharp.
Bringing the National Level to Kundapura
When your child walks into Evolution Academy, they are not just getting a generic physical education class. They are getting a curriculum influenced by my training with the Karnataka State Karate Team. We focus on:
- Technical Precision: We train in the Shito-Ryu style, focusing on the specific mechanics of kihon (basics) and kata (patterns).
- Real-World Application: Through controlled kumite (sparring), I teach students how to manage distance, reflexes, and stress—skills that translate to life, not just the ring.
- Competitive Edge: For the students who want to go further, I provide the exact roadmap I used to reach national-level podiums.
