Swap screens for real-world wonder. Join us for outdoor sessions in Bangalore where kids learn to climb, forage, and build confidence through active nature play.

There is a special kind of confidence a child gains from exploring the outdoors. Moments like these, seeing a child feel strong and happy in nature, are what my workshops are all about. We encourage kids to climb, explore, and find their own little adventures.

A quiet moment of connection with nature. After an exciting climb, this little one takes a moment to rest, perfectly content and at home in the outdoors. It is these peaceful instances that make our nature play sessions so special.

Look at the focus and determination. Our tree climbing activities are not just about physical play, they are about problem-solving and perseverance. I guide them, but the achievement is all theirs.

With hands firmly planted, this young explorer is ready for the next move. Every climb is a small victory that builds resilience and self-esteem.

A father watches on, offering quiet support as his son navigates the tree. These moments of gentle encouragement are key to fostering a child's independence and courage.

The triumphant smile of a successful climb. This young girl's expression is a mix of excitement and pride, a perfect example of the joy that comes from outdoor challenges.

Nature's toys are the best toys. This little boy proudly holds a pinecone and a twig, treasures he found during our nature hunt. These simple objects spark so much more imagination than plastic toys.

A handful of natural wonders. This young participant shows off his collection of leaves, sticks, and pinecones gathered during our foraging activity. Each item tells a story and connects him to the environment.

About Little Adventurers: Climbing & Exploration

Our tree climbing sessions are not about reaching the highest branch as fast as possible. I guide children to assess the tree's stability and choose their own footing, helping them build physical confidence and problem-solving skills in a safe, supported environment. Every climb is a lesson in listening to one's own body and recognizing personal limits.

Why Nature is the Best Playground

Many kids today have less exposure to the outdoors, which can lead to a natural hesitation when faced with uneven ground or climbing trees. My workshops aim to bridge that gap. We focus on the 'En Madtidiya' philosophy—learning by doing. When a child climbs a branch in Cubbon Park, they are doing more than just moving upwards. They are learning to navigate risks, build grip strength, and overcome the fear of falling.

The Cubbon Park Experience

We utilize the expansive green spaces of Cubbon Park to provide a sensory-rich environment that plastic toys simply cannot replicate. Our sessions include:

  • Assisted Climbing: I supervise kids as they explore low-hanging branches, ensuring they find their own path and triumph at their own pace.
  • Foraging Hunts: We look for pinecones, twigs, and fallen leaves, turning everyday nature items into treasures.
  • Parent-Child Bonding: These are not drop-off sessions. They are designed for parents to watch, encourage, and sometimes even climb alongside their little ones, creating a shared memory away from the rush of city life.

Safety and Philosophy

I believe that a bit of mud and a few scrapes are often part of the growth process. However, safety is my priority. We choose trees that are sturdy and accessible, and I maintain a low child-to-facilitator ratio to ensure every explorer gets the attention they need. If you are looking for a weekend activity that gets your child away from gadgets and into the fresh air, come join our community of tiny explorers.

I’m Kruthika, and I started En Madtidiya to bring back the kind of wild, outdoor play I loved as a child. My workshops are less of a formal class and more of a guided exploration where we use nature to teach kids to trust their bodies and find their own rhythm.
