I turned my mother's question into a way to reconnect with nature, learn through play, and celebrate traditional Indian art.

People often ask me about the name 'En Madtidiya'. In this video, I share the personal story of how my mother's simple question in Kannada, "What are you doing?", became the name and inspiration for my brand.

What is nature-based learning? It is about swapping textbooks for touch, and screens for soil. I explain how interacting directly with the outdoors helps children develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deep connection to their world.

My hands, stained with natural indigo dye. For me, creating with my hands is essential. It is how I connect with the materials and pour my heart into my work, ensuring every workshop and product is authentic and full of love.

I was so honoured to receive the MSME Handcrafters Award. This picture captures the proud and happy moment, a milestone in my journey that I am so grateful for.

On stage receiving the award. It was a special night, and I am so thankful for the support from my community, family, and everyone who has been a part of this journey.

Another shot of the beautiful award trophy. It serves as a reminder of the path I have taken and the importance of handcrafted, soulful work.

About Meet the Founder: My Story & Philosophy

When I started dyeing fabrics, my mother would walk into the kitchen and ask, "En madtidiya?", or "What are you doing?". That simple question became the heart of everything I create. It is not just about the final craft, but about the messy, tactile process of learning with nature, whether we are extracting indigo from plants or just getting our hands covered in garden soil.
