About Handcrafted by Me: Nature-Inspired Products
My greeting cards are made on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper using fresh blooms I forage myself. When you hold these pieces, you are getting something distinct, as the flower impressions vary with every print, and the terracotta diyas are painted with natural clay pigments I mix by hand.
Nature never repeats itself, which is exactly why I love using it as my medium. For my greeting cards, I use a technique called flower pounding. I select flowers based on their shape and ability to release colour, then gently hammer them onto high-quality, 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper. This does not just print a design; it transfers the actual essence and delicate veins of the plant onto the page. Because I use fresh botanicals for every batch, no two cards are ever identical, meaning you are gifting a singular piece of nature.
My terracotta diyas are equally about reconnecting with slow, festive traditions. I avoid synthetic, harsh acrylics in favour of organic, clay-based paints to create earthy, soft colours. These are small, meditative projects I do to celebrate seasonal shifts, like Diwali, and they bring a grounded, warm feel to any space.
Whether you need a unique, heartfelt card for a birthday or a bulk order of painted diyas for a corporate event or festival, I can create these specifically for your requirements. Everything is made in small, conscious batches here in Bangalore, ensuring quality and personal care in every item. If you appreciate art that comes directly from the earth and want to share that with others, I would love to create something for you.
