See what happens when kids trade screens for mud, twigs, and messy, hands-on fun in the heart of Bengaluru.

Our workshops are a community of families gathering to enjoy the simplicity of being outdoors. We often meet in beautiful green spaces like Cubbon Park, where everyone can unwind on the grass, create together, and share in the experience.

A montage of happy moments from a recent Nature Play session at Cubbon Park. From parent-child collaborations on art projects to kids exploring freely, this video captures the warm and engaging spirit of our workshops.

About Glimpses From Our Sessions

When you join us at Cubbon Park, the first thing you notice is how quickly the city noise fades. We don't stick to strict schedules or adult-led agendas here. Instead, we follow the children's lead, whether that means spending forty minutes observing a line of ants or getting messy with mud to create nature paint. It is about creating a space where you and your child can pause and just be together without any pressure to finish a project perfectly.

Why Nature Play Matters

Many parents ask me why we spend so much time in the dirt. It is simple: nature is the best teacher. In our sessions, we trade digital screens for tactile experiences. When a child touches damp soil, climbs a low branch, or hunts for fallen leaves, they are not just playing. They are building motor skills, grounding themselves, and learning to observe the world around them in a way a book simply cannot teach.

The 'En Madtidiya' Philosophy

The name of my work comes from my mother asking, 'What are you doing?' every time I raided her kitchen for dye experiments. I bring that same playful curiosity to these workshops. My goal is to show you that you do not need expensive toys to engage a child. You just need curiosity, some open space, and a bit of guidance.

What to Expect

We typically meet on weekend mornings. My role is to facilitate, not to instruct. I bring the materials—natural dyes, clay, mallets for flower pounding—but the play itself is led by the environment.

  • Foraging: We search for textures and colors in fallen flora.
  • Sensory Art: We use natural elements to create prints and sculptures.
  • Unstructured Time: This is often the most valuable part, where kids explore their limits climbing trees or splashing in mud.

These sessions are designed for children aged 2 to 7 and require a guardian's presence. It is a shared experience. You are not dropping your child off; you are joining them. We keep groups intimate so everyone gets the space to explore comfortably. Whether you are a local resident or visiting Bengaluru, these sessions are a way to find a bit of quiet in our busy city.

I am Kruthika. I started these workshops because I believe nature is the best teacher, and a little mud never hurt anyone. I am here to help you and your little one step away from the screens and rediscover the simple joy of learning through touch and play.
