About Sustainability & Science Programs for Kids
A classroom outdoors feels different. Kids get muddy, curious, sometimes lost in thought—and that's exactly what I want. At En Madtidiya, I build every program around learning with nature, not just about it. I believe kids remember best when their hands are busy and their minds are wandering.
What We Actually Do
- We ditch the textbooks for real-life experiments—making natural dyes, recycling paper, building water filters with stuff we find around us.
- Expect kids to come back with colourful T-shirts (from plant dye activities for kids), cotton tote bags printed with animal art, and maybe a new obsession with marigold petals.
- They’ll brainstorm wild ideas for problems like water pollution, and even try out a bit of eco-entrepreneurship for young learners.
- It’s not about perfect results. Sometimes things flop, but that’s how real learning happens.
Our Flagship Camp
- The 5-day "Our Planet" summer camp is for ages 9-13. We go deep into nature-based science camp for kids, mixing sustainability with creativity.
- Kids work together, create a group art piece, and show off what they made at the end.
For Schools Too
- I also run custom workshops in schools—like tackling textile waste, or a week of hands-on sustainability workshops for children.
I’m not here to make little scientists memorize facts. I want them to ask, "En madtidiya?" (What are we doing?), get their hands dirty, and realise they can actually change things.

My Story
People always ask why I named this 'En Madtidiya'. Well, every time I raided my mom’s kitchen for my dyeing experiments, she’d go, 'En madtidiya?' (What are you doing?). That stuck! My workshops are all about that same playful curiosity I had as a kid, climbing trees with my thatha (granddad). Making art, especially colouring, helps me unwind when life gets too much. I just want to share that joy and calm with others.
My Work
Workshops for All Ages - I run natural dyeing workshops, flower pounding art, block printing, handmade papermaking classes, and mindful nature play for kids, adults, families, and even office teams.
Learn by Doing - We get messy! You’ll use flowers, leaves, and old paper to create, not just watch or read.
Nature is Our Classroom - We’re mostly outdoors, using whatever nature gives. No fancy skills needed—just show up and try.
A Mindful Escape - Stressed or bored? These sessions are a slow, creative break from screens and routine.
