Hands-on Nature Learning & Play Activities for Kids
We trade screen time for stream time. Join us for parent-child nature walks that turn every local park visit into an outdoor discovery session for curious little explorers.
Our original Nature Scavenger Hunt sheet! We created this five years ago to turn walks into wide-eyed wonder, and it's been a favorite activity ever since.
Our one-of-a-kind "My First Nature Journal," loaded with activities, stickers, and journaling pages to make outdoor time even more fun and engaging for kids.
We believe in the power of storytelling to nurture imagination. Here, our naturalist engages a group of children with a story, followed by hands-on exploration.
A family explores the textures of a tree trunk, a simple yet profound way to connect with nature. Our walks are full of these small, sensory moments.
A family listens intently during a nature storytelling session. Sharing these experiences together strengthens bonds and creates lasting memories.
A happy group photo from our "Story Time in Nature" session. Every month, we bring a new tale to life under the trees, sparking wonder and laughter.
What has these explorers so focused? No screens, just a scavenger hunt list and a world of tiny treasures waiting to be found.
Happy little explorers from our Nature Explorer Camp, getting their hands muddy and creating art from nature.
A young naturalist carefully sketches his insect discovery in his journal. This practice of observation and documentation is a key part of our learning process.

About Learning & Play in Nature
Our learning approach centers on doing, not just looking. Whether it is using our custom-designed nature journals to sketch a beetle or completing a scavenger hunt list to find specific leaves, we provide the tools to help your child engage with the environment. We equip every young explorer with magnifying glasses and bug jars, helping them turn simple curiosity into focused observation.
We believe children learn best when they get their hands dirty. Our sessions are not lectures, they are open-ended invitations to touch, smell, and observe the world around us.
The Parent-Child Connection Every walk is designed for a parent-child duo because the bond you build while discovering a toad or identifying a bird together is something special. We ask that one parent always joins, as your enthusiasm is the biggest catalyst for your child's interest in the outdoors.
Tools of the Trade We do not just walk. We turn every outing into an adventure with:
- My First Nature Journal: A custom-made guide with prompts and stickers that helps kids practice the art of slowing down and documenting what they see.
- Nature Scavenger Hunts: Detective missions that keep eyes sharp and turn a regular park walk into an interactive challenge.
- Observation Gear: We provide returnable magnifying glasses and bug viewers, so every child gets a clear look at their tiny, six-legged neighbors.
What to Expect Come prepared to be a bit messy. Whether we are in a quiet urban park in Bengaluru or a trail near Pune and Mumbai, the goal is to let kids be kids. We keep our groups small to ensure every child gets the attention they need from our naturalists, allowing for questions, discoveries, and the occasional detour to watch a line of ants.
Green Panther
We are a group of parents who got tired of weekends spent in malls. We started Green Panther to help our kids, and ourselves, connect with the wild, messy, and magical parts of the world right outside our doors.
