Step away from screens and into the park. Join me for messy, sensory-rich workshops where children discover the magic of nature right here in Bangalore.

This is what pure, unfiltered joy looks like. I love watching little ones connect with the earth, splashing and squishing in the mud without a care in the world. These sensory play sessions are all about freedom, discovery, and a little bit of mess.

There is a special kind of confidence a child gains from exploring the outdoors. Moments like these, seeing a child feel strong and happy in nature, are what my workshops are all about. We encourage kids to climb, explore, and find their own little adventures.

It's not just the kids who have fun. My workshops are designed for parents and children to connect and create memories together. Sharing a laugh over muddy hands is a simple, beautiful way to bond away from screens and schedules.

I believe a parent is a child's first and most important teacher. My sessions create a quiet space for you to learn and discover alongside your little one, guiding them as they explore nature's textures and colours. These shared moments of focus are truly precious.

We turn nature into our classroom and our art studio. Here, a young artist is creating a beautiful butterfly using colours and textures foraged from the park. It is amazing to see children learn about the world through hands-on, creative nature art.

A beautiful collection from one of our nature colour hunts. We encourage children to look closely at the world around them, finding treasures in fallen leaves, petals, and twigs. This simple activity sparks so much curiosity and appreciation for nature's details.

Our workshops are a community of families gathering to enjoy the simplicity of being outdoors. We often meet in beautiful green spaces like Cubbon Park, where everyone can unwind on the grass, create together, and share in the experience.

Hi, I'm Kruthika. People often ask me what 'En Madtidiya' means, and I love sharing the story. It is a platform for us to reconnect with nature, learn through play, and celebrate the simple joy of creating something with our own hands.

About Featured

I conduct these workshops as parent-child duo sessions, often in the open spaces of Cubbon Park or at private gardens around Indiranagar. We keep things tactile, focusing on activities like mud play, flower pounding, and foraging to give children aged 2 to 7 a break from screens and a chance to truly connect with the earth.

When I started En Madtidiya, my goal was simple: to bring back the kind of play I knew as a child, the messy, hands-on, outdoor kind. I believe nature is a teacher that does not require textbooks. In our sessions, we trade digital devices for soil, leaves, and twigs.

What you can expect:

  • Sensory Play: We spend time barefoot, feeling the grass and earth. Whether it is a deep mud pool or a gentle scavenger hunt, the focus is on tactile exploration.
  • Creative Projects: We make art using what we find. We might use wooden mallets for flower pounding on paper, or natural dyes from kitchen ingredients like beetroot and turmeric.
  • Nature Hunts: We look for pinecones, fallen leaves, and specific flowers, which helps children slow down and observe their surroundings closely.

My sessions are designed for children aged 2 to 7 and one accompanying guardian. I see these workshops as a way to build confidence. Seeing a child successfully climb a low branch or figure out how to squeeze color out of a petal is what it is all about. These are not structured classes with right or wrong answers, but rather a space to be curious, make a mess, and enjoy the outdoors in the heart of Bengaluru.
