What You Will Learn

• Indigo & Shibori: Learn the magic of the blue vat. We cover how to maintain the health of your indigo vat, the chemistry behind the blue, and various shibori folding techniques to create patterns.
• Eco-Printing: I teach you how to steam real leaves and flowers onto fabric. It is a slow, meditative process, and you will learn how to select the right botanicals for the best prints.
• Ayurvastra Fundamentals: We explore the science of medicinal dyeing. We look at how turmeric, marigold, and other kitchen staples act not just as colorants, but as therapeutic elements for the skin and fabric.
• Color Fixing: A common pain point is fading. I share my exact methods for mordanting and fixing dyes so your creations last.
