Dance is more than just steps; it is about the connection we build in the studio. See how we break down choreography, focus on the details, and keep the energy high in every session.

A quick look at the freestyle choreography I taught in a weekend workshop. These sessions are perfect for anyone looking to learn a full routine in a short amount of time.

Here I am breaking down a contemporary piece for my students. I focus on the details and technique because that's what makes the difference. It's tough, but I won't let you quit.

More glimpses from a successful workshop. You can see the focus and dedication of the students as they learn and perfect the choreography together.

The happy faces after a great workshop. This picture captures the mix of ages and the supportive community we build in my classes. Everyone is welcome here.

In this clip, I am explaining the concept of 'phrases' in choreography. My classes are not just about learning steps, but also about understanding the structure and art of dance itself.

What a Sunday it was. A group photo with everyone who was part of the workshop. I'm overwhelmed by the energy and passion everyone brings to the floor.

The whole class dancing together. This is the result of two hours of hard work, focus, and fun. Seeing everyone move in sync is the best feeling for a teacher.

About Behind the Scenes: How We Learn

I do not believe in just memorizing steps. In my workshops, we dive into the structure of the music—what I call 'phrasing'—so you understand why we move, not just how. Whether we are doing contemporary or a Bollywood track, I personally focus on your posture and isolations. It is about getting the technique right while keeping the vibe relaxed, because dance should feel like a release, not a classroom exam.

A lot of people ask me why I focus so much on technique when we could just do freestyle. The truth is, building a solid foundation makes you a better dancer in the long run. My sessions, whether at Kimaya Dance Academy or other partner studios across Delhi, are structured to give you that growth. We usually start with a 20-minute technical warm-up to work on flexibility and isolations before we even touch the choreography. This is essential, especially if you are working on contemporary or jazz styles where body control is everything. I also record snippets during the class so you can see your own progress and spot where to improve your angles. My batch sizes are kept intentionally small, usually between 10 to 20 people, so I can actually come around and give individual feedback. We play with various styles including Hip Hop, Street Jazz, and classic Bollywood, but the core focus remains the same: honesty in your movement. If you are a beginner, do not worry about being perfect. Just show up with energy. We are here to learn, fall, get up, and dance. If you are looking to refine your skill or just want a weekend energy boost, check my current workshop schedule.

I am Siddharth, and I believe dance is all about the kaam—the actual work we put in. My classes are a mix of energy, technique, and a whole lot of fun where we do not just learn steps, we build a vibe together. Come for the dance, stay for the community.
