Inside The Studio: My Custom Music Production & Remix Process

I treat every track like a live performance. Here is a look at how I build beats, mashup genres, and get weird in the studio to make sure your dancefloor stays packed.

It's a brand new day. I've evolved from DJ Vicky to VIC, a brand that's all about the collective experience of music, visuals, and passion. This transformation means more music and a deeper dive into creativity.

Embrace the transformation. DJ Vicky is now VIC. I'm committed to bringing you two brand new, exhilarating remixes every week because music never stops evolving, and neither do I.

There's no place like Bangalore. The city's rhythm and a rainy day are the perfect backdrop for getting creative and finding inspiration in the studio.

Sometimes you have to get weird in the studio. This is what happens when I remix "Dil Mein Baji Guitar" with sounds from Popeye and Talking Tom. Music should be fun.

When studio work gets too intense, this is what we do. Here's a little fun I had, imagining the cast of Family Guy performing Shankar Mahadevan's "Breathless".

About this collection

Before I ever hand over a file, it gets road-tested. If a track does not get the room moving during a live set, it stays in the lab and gets scrapped. I do not just loop beats, I rebuild them to make sure your set flows without any hiccups, keeping the energy locked in from the first beat to the last.

How I Build Your Tracks

I treat my studio in Bellandur like a laboratory. Whether you need a simple DJ edit or a full production overhaul, my approach is always the same: keep it functional, keep it loud, and make it sound massive on club speakers.

Why My Edits Work

  • Quantization: I lock everything to a 124-128 BPM grid. No drift, no messy transitions, just seamless mixing for your set.
  • DJ Structure: Every track I produce comes with clean, 16 or 32-beat instrumental intros and outros. You get to focus on the crowd instead of fighting the mix.
  • Bass Reinforcement: I strip the weak stuff and layer in punchy, club-ready kicks and snares. If the floor is not shaking, I have not done my job.

What You Get From The Lab

I keep the process transparent. You get a mastered 24-bit WAV and a 320kbps MP3, usually within 48 to 72 hours. I do not hide behind complex pricing or hidden fees. If you need a specific genre flip—whether that is bringing an old 90s Indipop track into 2025 or mashing up Bollywood with heavy Afro-house—I have the stems and the plugins ready to go.

Let's Get Weird

Sometimes the best results come from the strangest ideas. I have remixed classic tracks with cartoon sound effects just to see if they work. If you have an offbeat request or want a custom mashup that sounds like nothing else out there, shoot me a message. We will figure it out together.
