About In the Studio: Crafting the Mix
Most DJs show up with a playlist, but I show up with a production. I use my studio time to sample local folk beats, chop up vocals, and sync them with high-bpm tech house. When you book me, you are getting tracks that are literally built for your event floor, not just pulled from a generic top-40 list.
My workflow starts with the Pioneer XDJ-RX3 and Ableton Live. I take your must-play list and rework the transitions, extend the drops, and layer in live samples. For instance, if you want a Sangeet entry that hits harder, I take the original track and boost the bass, or layer a Dhol sample over a mainstream pop hit. This is about making sure the energy does not dip. I have spent countless hours remixing everything from Aigiri Nandini to global hip-hop hits, ensuring each transition feels seamless and intentional. Whether it is a Bollywood Techno fusion or a pure club-ready mashup, my studio work is all about making the music hit right where it needs to. It means no awkward silences between tracks and a consistent, high-octane sonic identity for the duration of your party. When you work with me, you get a sound that is entirely yours.
