I don't just speed up a track. I rebuild the rhythm section. I strip back the original clutter, add custom-programmed drums, and create 16 or 32-beat instrumental intros. This makes your job as a DJ easier, giving you clean entry and exit points for your transition. If the track doesn't move a live crowd, it doesn't make the cut.
