I approach every mashup by rebuilding the foundation. I strip the original track to its core, quantize the tempo to a steady 124-128 BPM grid, and layer in punchy kicks and snares. This ensures that whether you are playing a 90s classic or a new chart-topper, the track hits with the same sonic authority as a modern club anthem.
My process is all about making the music work for the crowd. When I blend genres, like combining a soulful Bollywood ballad with a UK Garage beat or an Afro-House rhythm, I don't just crossfade two songs. I create a new bridge that connects them.
