About Live Percussion Fusion
This isn't just a playlist running on auto-pilot. When I bring the Basti Crew, we are constantly reading the crowd to improvise live drum drops over my mixes. It means if the floor needs a little more push, we turn up the rhythm instantly—no pre-recorded tracks can match that kind of real-time sync.
The core of my fusion set is the conversation between the console and the percussion. While a standard DJ set relies on the beat matching of the tracks, adding the Basti Crew introduces a layer of acoustic unpredictability.
