With the #ComeCloser setup, we ditch the traditional stage so I can read the room's energy from the middle of the dance floor. This isn't just about playing music, it is about mixing live in the thick of the action. You will need a cleared, dedicated space on your dance floor, but the tradeoff is an immediate, high-octane connection that feels more like a private rave than a formal event.
After 28 years behind the decks, I realized that a raised stage often acts as a wall between the DJ and the guests. The #ComeCloser concept is my solution to that disconnect. When I am standing in the middle of the crowd, I am not just playing a track list.
