I spend time at the site personally because I believe the best design happens when you watch the details take shape, not when you hand over a file and hope for the best.
My design journey at Designer’s Abode started with a simple question. Why do some rooms feel like a hug and others like a cold office. Over the last 15 years, I have found that the answer lies in intention. It is not just about the wallpaper or the marble. It is about how the lighting hits a corner, how the furniture supports your back, and how the flow of the room keeps your day moving without friction.
My work has been recognized by publications like The Architect’s Diary and Good Homes Magazine, where they highlighted my focus on combining vibrant, English-inspired upholstery with functional, modern layouts. More recently, I was honored to be included in the Top 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurs and Industry Experts list by Business Mint. These accolades are meaningful, but my real reward is when a client walks into their finished home and says it feels like they have always lived there.
I do not believe in designing by catalog. Whether I am working on a turnkey renovation in Gurgaon or advising a client on Vastu-compliant layouts, I prioritize the technical drawings as much as the aesthetic finishes. I have even taken this process to the classroom, conducting masterclasses at Pearl Academy to help the next generation of designers understand that this craft is 50 percent technical precision and 50 percent empathy.
