I create sacred spaces that blend traditional reverence with your home's modern style.

This collage shows a mandir unit with a peacock feather detail and a Ganesha idol, set within a niche. The design uses traditional patterns and warm lighting to create a peaceful and divine corner.

This mandir design is a perfect blend of tradition and modern elegance. It is finished in high-gloss white PU paint, with a gold foil backdrop and intricate metal CNC-cut jali details. The pocket doors make it a seamless part of the room when not in use.

This upcoming project in Saket, Delhi, includes a beautiful mandir design. The 3D render shows intricate jali work, a backlit 'Om' symbol, and hanging bells, creating a space that is both traditional and contemporary.

This video shows the transformation of a living space, including the creation of a beautiful mandir. The design features intricate jali panels and custom carpentry, turning a simple corner into a sacred space.

A behind-the-scenes look at the construction of the mandir unit. This image shows the custom shelving and arched details being assembled before the final finishes are applied.

This mandir unit is designed to be a tranquil and spiritual focal point. The design uses subtle colors, intricate light details, and the 'Om' symbol to create a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary elegance.

About Sacred Spaces: Mandir Designs

When planning a mandir, the biggest mistake is not considering how it looks when you are not using it. I often build units with pocket doors or subtle jali panels that hide the mandir completely when closed, letting you maintain the aesthetic of your living room without sacrificing that quiet space for prayer.

Design should not be about creating something that looks good for a week. A mandir requires lasting quality. I focus on high-quality materials like Boiling Water Proof grade plywood to ensure the unit stays durable. For the finishes, I use high-gloss PU paint or wood veneers that match the rest of your home furniture.

If you want a traditional look without the clutter, we use CNC-cut jali work that allows light to pass through softly. Lighting is essential here. I prefer using warm COB lights and LED strips inside the unit to highlight the idol space rather than bright, harsh bulbs. Whether you have a small niche in a bedroom or a dedicated corner in the living room, I plan the layout to maximize every inch, ensuring there is enough room for storage of puja essentials like oil, wicks, and books while keeping the visual area clean.
