About Press, Awards & Recognition
We rarely chase awards. Instead, we chase the right collaboration, whether with a local craftsperson in Bengal or a lead architect on a large-scale project. When a publication features our work, it is usually because that specific dialogue between maker and designer resonated, proving that Indian heritage holds a permanent place in contemporary luxury.
Our philosophy centers on contextual interior design. This is why features in Architectural Digest India and Livingetc India mean so much to us, as they validate our belief that art is not a decorative afterthought but an essential element of the structure.
Building a Legacy of Recognition
Since our inclusion in the AD50 list in 2017 with the Bhaskar Residence, we have remained a consistent presence on the AD100 list for eight consecutive years. Each project mentioned, from the Guha and Chandhiok Residences to our 2025 feature with the Daga Residence, represents a specific challenge. Whether it was integrating complex cabinetry in a living area or creating a seamless flow between dining and lounge spaces, these projects required us to push the boundaries of what local materials like brass, timber, and marble can achieve.
The Role of Collaboration
We do not work in isolation. Our feature in Architecture + Design for the collaboration with Abhimanyu Dalal Architects highlights our belief in synergy. Great spaces emerge when architects, interior designers, and craftspeople speak the same language. This is why we continue to work closely with metal workers from the Thathera community and paper-cut artists who specialize in Sanjhi.
Sustainable Luxury in Practice
Recognition from platforms like CW Property validates our commitment to sustainability. When we design for modern homes, we prioritize kiln-dried teak, high-grade Italian marble, and anti-fingerprint brass. We believe that true luxury lies in the durability of the structure and the story it tells, not just the aesthetic value. We are honored that our work continues to spark conversations about the relevance of Indian heritage in the contemporary home.
