Over the past 25 years, our commitment to storytelling and craft-driven design has gained recognition from leading design journals and institutions. This collection highlights the milestones that define our path.

We are beyond honored to have received the 'Interior Designer of the Year' award from India Design 2025. This recognition in our 25th year is a testament to our team's passion for craft-driven, sustainable design.

A look back at our journey with the prestigious AD100 list. This image from our 2020 feature showcases the Bansal Residence, a project that exemplifies our storytelling and design philosophy.

We are deeply honored to have been part of the AD100 list for 8 years and counting. This image highlights our Jain Residence project, featured in the 2021 edition of Architectural Digest.

From our AD100 feature in 2018, the Guha Residence. This project showcases our signature style of blending raw concrete textures with warm woods, contemporary art, and curated craft objects.

The Baid Residence, featured in the AD100 list for 2023. This space highlights our ability to create modern, art-filled interiors that are both sophisticated and livable.

A proud moment showcasing our project, The Urban Hearth, at the FOAID 2024 design showcase. This presentation board details the architectural and interior concepts behind the sprawling 33,000 sq. ft. residence.

We were honored to be featured in Building Material Reporter's issue on 35 remarkable women shaping the world of design. This feature celebrates our journey and the contribution of women to the design landscape in India.

About this collection

Receiving the 'Interior Designer of the Year' award in our 25th year was more than a professional milestone; it was a validation of our long-standing belief that traditional Indian crafts deserve a place in contemporary architecture. This recognition belongs to the artisans, collaborators, and clients who have trusted us to weave their personal histories into the structural fabric of their homes since 2000.

Our presence on the Architectural Digest AD100 list for eight consecutive years is not merely about aesthetic achievement; it represents a consistent dedication to the intersection of architecture and narrative. Each featured project—from the Bammi Residence in Gurugram to the 42 in Kolkata—is an exploration of how space impacts human experience. When publications like Elle Decor or Livingetc spotlight our work, they are focusing on the tangible results of our design philosophy: the integration of Phad paintings, structural Gond elements, and antique materials into modern layouts. These features allow us to explain the technical rigor behind our choices, such as lighting audits for art preservation or the logistical complexities of installing large-scale art in double-height volumes. We view these recognitions as opportunities to contribute to the broader dialogue on Indian luxury and heritage conservation. Whether we are discussing the resilience required to build a design practice as women architects or the specific material science behind paper-based installations, our goal remains the same: to show that meaningful design is a process, not a destination.

We are Amrita Guha and Joya Nandurikar. For two decades, we have been building spaces that function as extensions of the people who inhabit them, focusing on sustainability and the preservation of Indian craftsmanship. Our practice is rooted in collaboration, and we believe that every home has a unique story waiting to be expressed through architecture.
