A curated collection of our work where architecture, traditional Indian craft, and contemporary art converge to define the soul of a home.

We see every space as a story waiting to be told. In this double-height residence, a single metal line flows across walls and ceilings, an architectural installation that redefines the home's volume and connects its planes, turning a structural element into a piece of narrative art.

For us, art is a living, breathing element. This cascading installation, a collaboration with artist Ankon Mitra, combines the ancient Japanese dyeing technique of Shibori with the structural folds of origami to retell the story of Radha and Krishna, filling the home's central atrium with light, movement, and mythology.

A home's entrance should be an evocative experience. We designed this majestic water feature from massive, naturally split stone slabs, etched with Pali script and adorned with brass 'Khadau' sandals to create a serene and symbolic threshold that offers blessings upon entry.

We believe in reviving heritage crafts within contemporary contexts. For this dining room, we commissioned intricate Pinjirakari lattice work, transforming the walls and ceiling into a jewel box that filters light and creates an atmosphere of intimate, handcrafted luxury.

Art can become the very skin of a building. In this home, we integrated poetic Devanagari script directly into the board-formed concrete walls, creating a textural and meaningful surface that embeds heritage into the home's modern architectural language.

The true measure of our work is how it is experienced. This collection of testimonials from clients, artists, and gallery owners at one of our curated shows speaks to our core mission: to create spaces where art feels livable, accessible, and deeply personal.

As featured in Livingetc, this portrait captures us, Amrita Guha and Joya Nandurikar, with the 'Totem' sculpture. It represents our core belief that art should be an anchor in a home, crafted slowly and by hand to carry memory and meaning in its very form.

About this collection

We approach art not as a final accessory, but as a core structural element that defines the volume of a room. Whether we are integrating poetic script into concrete walls or suspending intricate Shibori installations within an atrium, our work is designed to manipulate light and shadow. This ensures that every element serves a purpose beyond aesthetics, creating a home that feels fundamentally anchored to your narrative.

Our practice is rooted in the belief that a home is not merely a structure but a living, breathing story. When we take on a project, we move past surface decoration to engage with the architecture itself. We look for ways to weave heritage into the modern context, whether it is sourcing antique doors, commissioning contemporary sculptural installations, or using Pinjirakari lattice work to transform a windowless dining room into a warm, atmospheric space.

The Methodology of Integration

Every project in this portfolio represents a specific collaboration. For instance, in our work at the Bammi Residence, we treated art as a bridge between the home’s different levels, utilizing metal lines that trace architectural planes. At The 42 in Kolkata, we worked with stone artisans to create water features that symbolize local heritage while serving as a functional focal point in the entryway. Our goal is always to create a spatial dialogue—an eclectic mix of textures, materials, and histories that feel authentic to the people living there.

Why Context Matters

We avoid the homogenized look of typical luxury design. Instead, we focus on context: the specific light in a room, the history of the building, and the personal memories of our clients. By working with skilled artisans—from metalworkers and paper engineers to stone carvers—we ensure that each element is custom-made. This process allows us to embed meaning directly into the skin of the building.

Whether we are designing for a compact apartment or a sprawling residence, our process remains consistent: we listen, we analyze the spatial constraints, and we propose interventions that honor both the environment and the craft. We view interior design as a long-term commitment to quality, sustainability, and the quiet joy of living surrounded by objects that carry memory.
