From slow-cooked Nihari to grand communal feasts, see what makes our kitchen the heart of authentic Mughlai dining in Mumbai.

Welcome to Delhi Zaika. This is the view from your seat, a table laden with our richest curries, sizzling tandoori starters, and fragrant biryani. This isn't just a meal; it's a feast waiting to happen.

Behold the Akbari Thaal, a royal feast designed for sharing with 4-6 people. It features a grand selection including Mutton Raan, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Boneless Butter Chicken, and Mutton Biryani, making you feel like true royalty.

This is our legendary Chicken Changezi, framed for the love it deserves. We slow-cook tandoori chicken in a rich, creamy, and smoky tomato gravy, finished with cashews. It's a dish that will make you fall in love with every bite.

Presenting our Chicken Cheese Overload Tandoori. We take juicy, smoky tandoori chicken and drench it in a generous layer of molten cheese. This is pure indulgence, a cheesy and smoky delight that's become a crowd favorite.

Every dish has a story, and this is the 'Nihari Ki Kahani'. Born in the royal kitchens of 18th-century Delhi, our Nihari is slow-cooked overnight until the goat shank is fall-off-the-bone tender. It's history served in a bowl.

For those who love a fusion of flavors, we present our Iconic Pot Rice. This one-pot meal combines fragrant rice with saucy chicken and crisp vegetables, offering a symphony of Indo-Chinese spices.

A glimpse into our newly renovated Grant Road outlet. We believe the setting should be as royal as the food. Expect plush seating, warm lighting, and intricate details that transport you to a modern-day Dastarkhwan.

No meal is complete without something sweet. Our Gulab Jamun, soft, warm, and soaked in fragrant syrup, is everyone's first love. It’s the perfect, heartwarming end to a royal feast.

About Featured

What you see here is the soul of our kitchen—a mix of slow-cooked Mughlai traditions and modern crowd-favorites that keep Mumbai coming back. Whether it is the overnight-cooked Nihari or our signature Akbari Thaal, these are not just dishes; they are heritage recipes we have brought from the lanes of Jama Masjid directly to your table, designed for sharing and savoring.

At Delhi Zaika, we believe food is an emotion. We do not take shortcuts. Our curries, like the legendary Chicken Changezi and our spice-rich Mutton Korma, are slow-cooked to ensure every bite carries the depth of flavor you would expect from a royal kitchen.

Why Our Kitchen is Different

We are not just serving meals; we are keeping traditions alive. Our chefs focus on the 'zaika'—the authentic taste.

  • The Dastarkhwan Experience: We bring the tradition of community dining to our outlets. Our Thaals, like the Akbari and the Indo-Chinese fusion Thaal-E-Cheen, are crafted for groups. They are messy, hearty, and meant to be eaten together.
  • Quality Over Speed: From the Mutton Raan marinated for hours to the dough for our Sheermal bread, every element is prepared with patience.
  • Diverse Flavors: While our roots are firmly in North Indian Mughlai, we know the Mumbai palate loves variety. That is why our menu bridges the gap between classic kebabs and Indo-Chinese favorites like Pot Rice.

Whether you are visiting our Grant Road outlet for a family dinner or looking for catering for a larger event, we bring the same passion to the plate. Come hungry, leave with a memory.
