What We Cover

We focus on the elements that make spoken word effective. Our sessions dive into:

• Technical Craft: Developing rhythm, using silence, and mastering the tone of your delivery.
• Linguistic Exploration: We encourage you to bring your own dialects and regional influences into your work, as seen in our 'Verse & Voice' series in partnership with the Goethe-Institut.
• Performance Skills: You will learn how to own the stage, handle the microphone, and engage an audience at our Connaught Place studio.

The 'DelSlam' Experience

We believe the best creative work happens when you are relaxed. Our sessions are infused with our signature culture—expect deep discussions followed by chai, pizza, and genuine bonding with fellow writers. We have hosted 'Dead Poet Society' themed workshops and various fiction writing intensives where we focus as much on building friendships as we do on building stanzas.
