Making Space Work For You
Storage in Mumbai apartments is rarely just about buying a new cabinet; it is about solving a puzzle. My process starts with a simple scribble of what you need, and we build from there. Whether it is a passage area that feels too narrow, a bed that needs to do double duty, or a credenza that looks tired, I look for ways to turn existing dead space into something useful.
The Art of Hiding
One of my favorite challenges is creating seamless transitions. I love using custom wall paneling, fluted glass, or even camouflaged doors that blend into the wall to hide storage. If you walk into a room and cannot immediately spot the wardrobe or the laundry unit, I have done my job well.
Upcycling vs. New
You do not always need to tear everything down. I am a big fan of giving old furniture a second life. A tired, outdated credenza can become a modern showstopper with new veneers, molding details, or updated hardware. It saves money, keeps history in your home, and usually ends up being a much more personal piece than anything you could buy off the shelf.

- Verticality: When floor space is limited, I push storage up, using floor-to-ceiling designs that feel sleek rather than clunky.
- Integrated Details: From rope handles on office wardrobes to integrated side tables in bed frames, I look for small, personal details that make your storage feel bespoke, not mass-produced.
