Our Rescue Journey: The Real Story Behind Our Work

See the real, unvarnished story behind our rescues in Bangalore. From the initial vet check to their first safe night in a foster home, this is what it takes to save a life.

Fostering saves lives, and Buddy's story shows why. A foster home provides a safe, quiet space for dogs like him to heal physically and emotionally after being abandoned. It allows us to learn their true personality and prepare them for adoption.

This is what we mean when we say fostering saves lives. Luna the Husky was rescued from a breeder and had seizures. Her foster home provided a stable environment to manage her medication, diet, and recovery, turning her into a happy, adoptable dog.

This is Cookie, a 4-month-old French Bulldog who was surrendered to us. Before any dog is put up for adoption, we conduct full health checks, including vaccinations and blood tests. We need to raise funds to cover these essential first steps.

An update on Buddy's progress. He's on heart medication, homeopathy, and a good meat diet, and his panting is better. We still have pending bills for his care, and every small donation helps us clear them.

Luna the Husky and her foster sister on a trip. While she enjoys her foster life, we still need to raise funds for her extensive medical checks, including tests for her epilepsy. Even small contributions make a huge difference.

A fund appeal for Luna the Husky's medical tests. To properly manage her epilepsy, we needed to run a full panel of tests, including a bile acid test and thyroid profile. This is crucial for her long-term health and adoption prospects.

We welcome Missy, a 2-year-old pug, into our care. She was abandoned on the streets and went through tick fever treatment and spaying at the hospital. Now in a foster home, her journey to adoption begins.

About Our Rescue Journey: The Grit & The Glory

When you look at our rescue work, you are seeing the raw reality of the street. Every medical bill, every invoice for medication, and every diagnostic report we post is there so you can see exactly how we spend the funds you entrust to us. We do not have a physical shelter, so we rely entirely on foster homes and total transparency to get these dogs back on their feet.
