About Specialty & Traditional Crafts
When you join our enamel jewellery sessions, you are not just watching a demonstration. You are actually cutting copper, applying glass powder, and firing it in our kiln at 850 degrees Celsius. We guide you through the technical process, but the design and the final glossy finish belong entirely to you.
Art is a skill, not a secret talent. In our specialty and traditional craft workshops, we help you get the basics right so you can build confidence, whether you are a complete beginner or looking for a new creative outlet.
What We Teach
We explore diverse art forms that go beyond standard canvas painting:
- Enamel Jewellery: Learn the science of glass on metal. We cover everything from cutting and sanding copper bases to the firing process that creates those vibrant, permanent colours. You walk away with wearable art.
- Traditional Indian Arts: We conduct sessions on Pichwai and Tanjore painting. These are deep-dive sessions where we focus on the patience required for traditional brushwork, gold foil application, and stone embellishment.
How Our Workshops Work
We believe in learning without the stress of perfectionism. For our traditional masterclasses, we structure the sessions to be intensive but manageable. Whether it is a two-day workshop where you get into the technicalities of serigraphy or a shorter session for a quick project, we keep our batch sizes small—usually between 8 to 15 people.
This ensures that Ritu Aunty or I can give you real feedback while you work. We provide all the raw materials, from high-temperature enamel powders to specialised copper sheets and fine art cartridge paper. You just need to bring your curiosity.
Culture Chauraha
We are a mom-daughter duo who believe art is for everyone, not just those who think they are the 'creative type'. Ritu Aunty and I run our studio with one simple rule: if you want to make it, we will help you make it happen.
