About Happy Students & Our Community
At these workshops, the goal isn't just to finish a pattern. It's to slow down. I teach you the four core stitches—chain, single, double, and slip—in a relaxed 3-hour session, usually over coffee at a local cafe. You’ll walk away with your own handmade piece, a complete starter kit, and hopefully, a bit of that 'I can do this' confidence.
Most people arrive a little nervous, thinking they aren't 'creative' enough. I've taught everyone from 9-year-olds to grandparents, and the truth is, if you can hold a hook, you can crochet. My approach is what I call dheeme dheeme—slowly, slowly. We aren't racing; we’re stitching.
I keep my workshops in Bangalore very intimate, usually capped at 10 participants. This ensures I can physically move around the table, correct your tension, and answer questions as they pop up. It’s not just about the crochet; it’s about the community. We often find that participants are there for the same reason—to unplug from the grind, meet new people, or find a creative outlet that isn't a screen.
Every workshop includes a full take-home kit with an ergonomic hook, high-visibility yarn, and a printed guide. You’ll also get a food and beverage coupon, so you can enjoy a coffee while we work. If you can’t make it in person, I also offer kits with video tutorials, but if you're in the city, there’s something special about sitting together at a table and finally getting that stitch right. Come join us for a session; let’s turn your stress into something beautiful, one loop at a time.

Hi, I’m Zaina. I found my own peace in yarn during a tough time, and now I share that same calm with others. My workshops aren't about being perfect—they're about taking a deep breath and finding a little joy in the process.
