About Custom-Made Apparel, Naturally
When you order a custom piece, we do not pull something off a shelf. We start with your measurements and chosen natural fiber—Organic Cotton or Khadi—and then hand-dye the fabric using plant-based pigments in our Hebbal studio. Because we use traditional dyeing methods without harsh chemical fixatives, please allow 7 to 14 days for us to create your garment, as each batch is crafted slowly to ensure color depth and fabric longevity.
Our approach to clothing is simple: we believe fashion should be safe for your skin and kind to our rivers. By choosing to work exclusively with natural fibers like cotton, silk, and bamboo, we ensure that every garment is biodegradable and breathable.
The Custom Process
Whether you are looking for comfortable yoga wear, a gentle outfit for a baby, or specific apparel for an event, we handle the production from start to finish. We do not use polyester or dark, synthetic-heavy materials.
- Material Selection: You choose the base fabric. We prioritize Organic Cotton and Khadi for their breathability and ethical sourcing.
- Dyeing: We use only plant and mineral dyes. You might notice slight variations in color—this is not a flaw, but a hallmark of non-industrial dyeing.
- Finishing: Every item undergoes deep scouring to remove industrial residues and post-dye mordanting to ensure the colors hold up to wear.
Why Slow Fashion Matters
We avoid the rush of fast fashion. Our pieces are unlined, loose-fitting, and designed for movement. If you have an existing garment that you love but is faded, we also offer upcycling services where we re-dye and restore the fabric, giving your old favorites a completely new aesthetic. We work with artists, musicians, and everyday folks who want clothing that tells a story and aligns with a conscious lifestyle.
