When we teach art, we don’t just focus on the technique; we build a connection. In our 'Know Thy Artist' series, for instance, children aren't just copying paintings—they’re learning about legends like Van Gogh, discussing his life, and understanding that art is about emotions, not just 'perfect' lines. It’s messy, it’s educational, and it’s always about the process over the product.
Art at Chronicles Room isn't about rigid instruction. It’s about messy, tactile, and meaningful exploration. We move beyond simple coloring books to offer a diverse range of mediums, including charcoal, acrylics, and 'best out of waste' projects. Whether your child is a toddler just discovering texture in our sensory sessions or a pre-teen trying to master brush strokes on canvas, the environment remains non-judgmental.
We understand the common worry: 'Will my child sit still?' or 'Is this just another messy activity?' The truth is, children often struggle to write or sit for long periods because they haven't had enough unstructured time to develop their motor skills. My classes bridge that gap. We use play as the primary medium. When we do a Van Gogh workshop, we talk about why the stars look the way they do in his paintings. Our studio in Kamla Nagar is designed to be a safe space where 'mistakes' are just opportunities for new ideas.
