About Our Art & Craft Studio
We don't just teach kids to draw lines; we teach them to express their feelings through color and shape. In our Vikhroli studio, you won't find us rushing to finish a piece for display. Instead, we spend time helping children experiment with clay, textures, and paints, ensuring that whether your child is 3 or 16, they feel the confidence to make creative choices without the fear of making a mistake.
At OM Kids Activities, our art studio serves as a dedicated space for children to explore their artistic potential. We move away from traditional methods that focus solely on the outcome, focusing instead on creative exploration.
Our Artistic Approach
Our sessions are structured to meet children at their developmental stage:
- Preschool (Ages 3-5): We start with sensory-rich art, focusing on color recognition, fine motor control through coloring, and basic shapes. It is all about getting comfortable with materials.
- Intermediate (Ages 6-12): Here, we introduce structured techniques including drawing, painting, mixed media, and cartooning. We emphasize understanding perspective, texture, and value.
- Advanced (Ages 8-16): For older students, we delve into advanced painting methods, including acrylics and watercolors, alongside design principles like composition and balance.
