Step into our Ghitorni workshop to see exactly how your bag comes to life. It is not a showroom; it is where we design, craft, and collaborate together.

Welcome to our Ghitorni studio. This is where the magic happens. We invite you to book a visit, not just to shop, but to see our 'Single Artisan Made' philosophy in action, feel our upcycled leathers, and collaborate with us on your dream bag.

A big part of the studio experience is understanding the materials. Here, we are discussing our Disco Safari leather. We will walk you through the process, from the base crust leather to the multiple foiling stages that give it a unique metallic sheen, so you can make an informed choice for your custom bag.

Many of our most loved designs, like the Aishwarya bag, began as a collaboration with a patron. During your consultation, we can work together to bring your vision to life, creating a piece that is truly unique to you. Your idea might even become a permanent part of our collection.

We love blending traditional Indian crafts with modern design. Our Lace Edit, for example, combines Sanganeri block print motifs with the chain stitch embroidery of Kashmir. We can explore these special hand-embroidery techniques for your bag, but remember, it's only possible on our softer leathers.

Meet Sohrab, one of our skilled artisans, proudly presenting the Adyasha backpack he crafted in our limited-edition Jazz Safari leather. When you visit, you can meet the makers and see the incredible skill that goes into every single piece.

Hear from Vandita, a patron who has been with us for 10 years and owns over 30 of our pieces. She shares her love for the custom experience, the superior craftsmanship, and the joy of owning a unique bag that holds personal memories.

The possibilities are endless when you design with us. The Jordan bag, for instance, can be made in a solid color, fully woven, with twill detailing, or even with delicate lace embroidery. We can customize everything from the handles to the monogram placement to make it perfectly yours.

About Featured

When you visit our Ghitorni workshop, expect to see the real deal—work tables covered in leather scraps and tools, not polished retail displays. You will sit with us, touch our limited-run upcycled leather lots, and see exactly how one artisan constructs your bag from start to finish. It is an honest, raw look at the craft, and we love having you involved in the process.

Our studio is the heart of Chiaroscuro. We do not operate a traditional storefront because we want you to see the actual environment where your bag is made. During a visit, you get a front-row seat to our 'Single Artisan Made' philosophy. You can watch how we handle materials, compare the texture of our semi-stiff versus soft leathers, and understand why we hunt for those unique, limited lots like our metallic Disco Safari or pebbled grains.

This is also where design happens. Many of our permanent collections, including favorites like the Aishwarya or the Jordan, started right here as a collaborative idea with a visitor. Whether you want to adjust a strap length, add a specific pocket for your keys, or incorporate traditional crafts like Zardozi, Gond painting, or our signature lace embroidery, we can walk through the possibilities together.

We are proud to be small and authentic. When you commission a piece here, you are not just getting a product; you are becoming part of our 10-year journey. We work by appointment to ensure we have the time to sit with you, chat about your needs, and sketch out the perfect design. Come by to meet the makers, feel the leather, and help us turn your vision into a unique, everyday companion.
