About Our Story & Creative Process
When you choose to work with us, we do not jump straight to the final installation. We begin with a 1x1 ft physical sample of your chosen material and metal-to-fabric junction. Seeing the texture, weight, and light play in your actual room changes the entire perspective. It is a small step, but it ensures that what we build is exactly what you envisioned before we commit to the full wall surface.

We often get asked why we obsess over sketches, prototypes, and material samples. The answer is simple: a wall is not just a surface, it is a canvas. When we started in 2017 with just 150 sq ft, we learned quickly that if you want a finish to last, you have to be willing to get the process wrong a few times first.
The Creative Journey
Every project follows our 'Modern Karigari' philosophy. It starts with an idea—yours. Whether you bring us a rough sketch, an AI-generated concept, or just a mood, we start by mapping it out. Our team brainstorms the feasibility, and then we begin the prototyping phase. We test different densities of foam, play with metal inlay alignment, and experiment with stitching patterns until the junction between hard and soft materials is seamless.

We do not outsource our soul. Every piece is crafted in our 10,000 sq ft workshop in Mumbai. This allows us to maintain the honesty that defines us—what one architect once described to my parents as 'imandarithee kaam kare che' (doing work with honesty). By keeping production in-house, we can handle complex requests like wardrobe cladding, 3D geometric upholstery, and hand-embroidered wall murals without losing the detail.
