About Statement Wardrobe & Door Panels
We look closely at existing hinges and handle placement on your doors before we start. It is a small detail, but it changes how the cladding sits and wears over time. We focus on these junctions to make sure your wardrobe panels look intentional, not just added on as an afterthought.
How we approach your wardrobe
We treat every wardrobe door like a canvas. Standard laminates have their place, but if you want something that feels warm and personal, we move into high-grade leatherite, velvet, or metal inlays. The goal is to move away from flat, lifeless surfaces.
The process
It starts with your idea. We sketch, brainstorm, and create a 1x1 ft sample of the metal-to-fabric junction to see how the materials behave before we commit to the full build. We are transparent about the process because sometimes materials do not behave, or an idea hits a roadblock. That is how we know the final piece will last.
Construction and durability
Our core construction uses 12mm to 18mm treated plywood or MDF. We use high-resilience foam to create that signature 3D look. Because we are involved from design to installation in our Mumbai workshop, we know exactly what goes into the hidden parts of the door. This means we manage the mounting, the invisible fastening systems, and the alignment of seams using high-strength nylon thread.
Practical details
Yes, we can wrap your existing wardrobe shutters. We plan the switchboard and handle cutouts at the design stage, so everything is flush and functional. It is not just about the aesthetic; it is about how the door opens and closes every day. We ensure that our added texture does not interfere with the mechanics of your door or drawer operation.
