Advanced Sport Dog Training & PSA Preparation
High-drive dogs need a job, not just a walk. We specialize in advanced PSA-style sport training, focusing on nerve, precision, and building the handler-dog bond.
Four dogs, two breeds, one pack. This is what real teamwork and training look like, from obedience drills to protection hits. We build dogs for sport and train them for real life.
A look at Solan of Canine Conditioning during a PSA (Protection Sports Association) seminar. This advanced training requires incredible focus, obedience, and control from both the dog and the handler.
Introducing my new pack member, Yoko. As the son of two titled working dogs, he will follow in his parents' footsteps and be trained for the sport his breed was made for.
About For the Canine Athlete: Advanced Sport Training
This isn't your standard obedience class. We work with high-drive breeds that need a productive outlet, not just a command checklist. Whether you are aiming for PSA competition or just need to channel your dog's intense prey drive, the focus is on nerve, control, and structure. Before starting, we assess your dog’s natural temperament to see if they are ready for the intensity of sport-level engagement.
Advanced sport training is not for every dog, and that is okay. We focus on bitework, precision obedience, and handler control, specifically for owners of Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, or high-drive German Shepherds. My philosophy is 'heart before habit'—if the dog doesn't trust the handler, they won't perform when the adrenaline spikes.
My facility in Sector 62, Gurugram, is built for this. We aren't just doing drills; we are conditioning athletes. When you bring your dog to our board and train bootcamp, they aren't just sitting in a kennel. They are in a structured routine involving 4 to 5 daily training sessions focused on engagement, drive, and impulse control.
We use the tools necessary to communicate clearly—prong collars, e-collars, or slip leads—always balanced with reward markers. For those interested in PSA (Protection Sports Association), this is serious business. It requires incredible focus from the handler as much as the dog. If you are serious about this path, reach out, and we will talk about your dog's potential.
Varun Anand
I am Varun, and my life revolves around working lines. Alongside my wife Simran, we train dogs with the same intensity and dedication we pour into our own pack. We don't just teach commands; we build drive, structure, and a deep, working bond.
