Reliable Obedience and Leash Manners Training
Reliable obedience starts with clear communication, not endless repetition. We teach skills that translate to everyday life, from calm leash walking to a rock-solid recall.
For hyper dogs like Rustam, teaching an automatic sit with the recall command is a game-changer. It prevents jumping and creates a calm, controlled greeting. Here, our founder Varun Anand demonstrates this technique during a handover session.
Obedience training can and should be fun! Here's QT the Golden Retriever showing off some of his skills with our head trainer. We believe in making learning an exciting game to keep dogs engaged and happy.
A correction doesn't mean harshness. In this handover session, we're teaching Snoopy's owner how to use the 'no' command effectively with a simple leash cue and redirection. This creates clear boundaries and helps owners of any age or strength manage their dog confidently.
Cooper, a young Golden Retriever, practicing his 'stay' and 'recall' commands during his boarding stay. Consistent practice of these core obedience skills ensures they become reliable in any situation.
Puppy Theo, here for obedience training, working with our founder Varun. We focus on building a strong foundation of basic manners and leash skills that will serve him well for his entire life.
Even during a boarding stay, the learning continues. Here's our regular guest Jojo practicing his obedience commands. This structure ensures that good habits are maintained and reinforced while he's with us.
A fun training session with baby Zara. We incorporate play and tricks like 'spin' and 'roll' into our obedience work to keep the dogs mentally stimulated and strengthen their bond with the trainer.
Zara's first training session with us. Even though her owner had already done great work with her, we created a customized program to fine-tune her skills and work on specific behaviors like jumping.
Meet Alfie, an 8-month-old Golden Retriever, after his first obedience session. He's a lovely, intelligent pup with a great food drive, which makes training a rewarding experience for both him and our trainer Simran.
Our founder, Varun Anand, working with a board and train student in an open field. We are personally involved in every dog's training to ensure we deliver the best possible results and help each dog reach its full potential.
About Obedience & Leash Manners
When we teach a 'no' command, or 'neh' as we call it, it is never about being harsh. It is about using a specific, calm leash correction followed by an immediate redirection to a sit or down. This builds muscle memory for the dog and helps them understand what you want, turning a potential conflict into a moment where you and your dog communicate clearly.
Building Communication, Not Just Commands
Obedience is often misunderstood as teaching a dog to perform tricks. For us, it is about functional communication. Whether you are dealing with a puppy that pulls on the leash or an older dog with reactivity issues, the goal remains the same: building a foundation of trust. We do not rush through drills. We focus on the heart of the relationship first, then add the habit.
Why Handover Sessions Matter
A trained dog means nothing if the owner cannot handle them at home. Our handover process is designed to be a direct transfer of knowledge. We do not just show you what your dog can do. We teach you the mechanics of the correction, how to use your leash, and how to maintain the structure we built. This is why we include mandatory in-person sessions at our facility in Sector 62, Gurugram. You leave with the confidence to handle your dog, not just a list of commands they followed for us.
Common Challenges We Address
- Leash Manners: Constant pulling makes walks stressful. We use leash pressure and guidance to teach your dog that walking by your side is more rewarding than dragging you down the street.
- Reliable Recall: The 'come' command should work in any environment. We teach this with impulse control, ensuring your dog sits automatically when they reach you, rather than jumping or rushing past.
- Focus and Engagement: If your dog ignores you in public, they lack focus. We use drive-building exercises to make you more interesting to your dog than the distractions around them.
We accept dogs from across Delhi NCR at our boarding and training facility. If you are ready to put in the work to build a balanced relationship, we are here to help.
