Cricket Match Practice and Real-Game Scenarios
Net practice builds your technique, but the middle builds your character. We organize regular matches to test your skills in real-game pressure.
Toss time. The captain's reaction after losing the toss is priceless. Matches are not just about skill but also about handling emotions and pressure.
A night match in Greater Noida. Our U-15 team is playing against a U-19 team, giving them valuable experience of facing older and stronger opponents.
A live look into a practice match. I am constantly giving feedback to the players, helping them understand the game situation and make better decisions.
We are the only academy that arranges test matches for U-14 players. This helps them get into the habit of playing long innings and applying their basics, which is crucial for their long-term development.

A live net session with our young 7-year-old batsman, Viraj. I am giving him real-time feedback on his grip and shot selection against different bowlers.
Another intense net session. I am constantly reminding the players about their footwork and body position. You can hear the sound of the ball hitting the bat, which is music to a coach's ears.
A beautiful view of a match day at Brigade Cricket Academy. We offer regular matches to help our players showcase their talent and gain experience.
We teach our students to respect the ground they play on. Here, the players are doing 'saaf safai' (cleaning) before the match. A clean ground is like a temple.
About Match Day: Real-Game Scenarios
Most academies only focus on net sessions, but the real test is in the middle. We organize regular match days, including U-14 Test matches with red balls and T20 scenarios, to teach you how to value your wicket and build long innings. You won’t find this kind of real-game experience anywhere else in Greater Noida.
From Nets to the Middle
There is a massive difference between hitting a ball in the nets and facing a live bowler when the match is on the line. Our philosophy is simple: practice is for fixing your grip and stance, but match days are for finding your mind. When you play a proper match, you learn things no coach can tell you—how to read the field, how to rotate the strike, and how to stay calm when the run rate climbs.
Our Match Formats
- Test Match Temperament: We are among the few in the region organizing U-14 Test matches. We use the red ball to teach patience. This is where you learn to leave the ball, respect the good deliveries, and bat through the pressure. It builds the foundation for long innings.
- T20 Game Awareness: For those who want to play aggressive, our T20 simulation sessions teach power hitting, field placement strategies, and quick decision-making. You will learn when to attack and when to nudge for a single.
Why Match Practice is Mandatory
Cricket is a game of errors. In the nets, you repeat the same shot. In a match, you face different bowlers, changing conditions, and varied wickets. At our Greater Noida facility, we simulate these variables so you are ready for professional tournaments. Whether it is an All India Mela T20 or the U-19 trials, you will walk onto the field knowing you have already handled the pressure before.
Brigade Cricket Academy
I believe cricket is tapasya, and we don't just teach you to swing the bat; we guide you through the process. Our academy is a family where we learn to respect the ground like a temple and value every single delivery. Come join us, and I will show you the way to become a complete player.
