Bowling Clinic: Master Pace, Spin and Control
Cricket is tapasya. Whether you are a pacer looking for extra yards or a spinner finding your drift, we fix your grip, release, and run-up to make you a complete bowler.
A student asked why the non-bowling arm should be held. I am explaining its role in creating a stable base, generating momentum, and ensuring the body is aligned towards the batsman for better control.
A group session on the basics of outswing bowling. I am demonstrating the correct seam position, grip, and wrist release needed to get the ball to move away from the right-handed batsman.
Sprinting is crucial for every fast bowler to build stamina and explosive power in their run-up. This U-14 boy is finishing a session of 50 sprints, showing incredible endurance.
A fast bowler's revenge. After being hit, he comes back with a perfect delivery that beats the batsman. This shows the competitive spirit we encourage in our net sessions.
We have our own "Lefty Malinga" in the academy. His unique side-arm action generates a lot of pace and is very difficult for batsmen to pick up.
This is pure junoon. This boy injured his hand while fielding, but after coming back from the hospital, he insisted on bowling. This dedication is what makes a true cricketer.
A super special talent. This is a 5-year-old Chinaman spinner playing in a U-14 match. It is incredible to see such skill and confidence at such a young age.
A 10-year-old fast bowler with a beautiful, clean action. The ground is where you find yourself, and this boy has found his calling.
Coach versus student in the nets. Our IPL-select Md Izhar bowling with serious pace. This is how we push our players to face the best and improve.
We are proud to train girl fast bowlers. She is working on her run-up and action, and with her hard work, she will be generating good pace very soon.
About Bowling Clinic: Pace, Spin & Control
We do not just teach you how to hold the ball. We fix your non-bowling arm, wrist position at release, and ensure your follow-through is stable. I personally monitor every stride and head position during nets because these small details are the difference between a loose delivery and a match-winning wicket.
Building a Complete Bowler
Bowling is a mental game as much as a physical one. At Brigade Cricket Academy, we break down your action so you don't just bowl fast or spin well; you bowl with a plan.
The Technical Grind
- Grip & Seam: We focus on the basics of seam position for both outswing and inswing. If your fingers are not right, the ball will never move.
- The Non-Bowling Arm: Many bowlers ignore this. We teach you how to lock your non-bowling arm to create a solid base, generate momentum, and align your body towards the batsman.
- Release & Follow-through: Whether you are a pacer or a spinner, your wrist position at the point of impact determines your control. We use video analysis to show you exactly where your action breaks.
Training Philosophy
We don't believe in generic gym sessions. We focus on field-based agility and core strength. Our bowlers go through ladder drills, sprints, and match-simulation sessions. If you have the junoon (passion) to put in the hours, I have the plan to make you a top-class bowler.
Why Train With Us?
- Personalized Mentorship: From our own 'Lefty Malinga' to U-14 spinners, our students learn by observing real match scenarios.
- Tech-Enabled Feedback: We use side-arm throwers and video analysis to correct your action in real-time.
- Real Conditions: We train on turf and cement wickets to prepare you for actual match pressure.
If you want to move beyond the crowd and truly understand the art of taking wickets, come to the ground. Let's work.
Brigade Cricket Academy
I treat every student like my own kid. We focus on the process, not just the results. If you have the junoon to put in the hard hours, I will show you the path.
