Fitness is a journey, not a destination, and I've learned the most from my own trials, errors, and continuous education. Here is the reality behind the coaching.

Against all odds. I don't like running, which is exactly why I had to do it. I finished my first half marathon sick, injured, and with no stamina, just to prove that it's all in the mind.

To new beginnings. I'm grateful to be a student of Somatic Experiencing, opening another chapter in my understanding of the mind-body connection. This knowledge is integral to my holistic coaching approach.

Four years of gratitude journaling. This simple habit has been transformative for my mental health, helping me focus on the positive and track my goals. I encourage all my clients to try it.

I'm not usually one for self-help books, but "The 5 AM Club" by Robin Sharma is different. It's a treasure trove of information on time management, consistency, and finding balance, which are all keystones of my coaching philosophy.

An excerpt from "The 5 AM Club" on the Lifetime Habit Arc. Understanding the cycle of trigger, ritual, reward, and repetition is key to building sustainable habits.

More wisdom from "The 5 AM Club" on the truths behind excellent habits. Personal discipline is a muscle; the more you use it, the stronger it gets.

This diagram on "The Secret of Morning Genius" from "The 5 AM Club" illustrates how early morning solitude can quiet the pre-frontal cortex and stimulate a pharmacy of mastery in your brain.

About this collection

I don't just teach fitness; I live it. My background in Somatic Experiencing and my personal history with PCOD mean I don't throw cookie-cutter plans at you. We work on the mind-body connection to ensure you are actually recovering, not just grinding until you burn out. If you are tired of fitness advice that ignores your unique history, let's have a real conversation about where you are at.

I believe that to be an effective coach, you have to be a lifelong student. My approach isn't theoretical; it is built on years of trial, error, and formal education.

Why My Background Matters

My coaching style is shaped by real life, not textbooks.

  • Somatic Experiencing: Understanding how stress lives in the body is the missing link in most fitness plans. My training here helps me guide you through the mental hurdles of exercise, especially if you have a history of body image issues or workout anxiety.
  • PCOD Recovery: I didn't learn about hormone-friendly training just from a course; I learned it by fixing my own cycles, skin, and energy levels. When I create a plan for you, I know exactly how that fatigue feels.
  • The Mindset Work: From training for a half-marathon while sick to building the habit of gratitude journaling, I practice everything I recommend. I know that if your head isn't in it, your body won't follow.

My Philosophy on Continuous Learning

I am not someone who reads self-help books and blindly follows them. I test, reflect, and only share what works. Whether it is incorporating the habits from books like 'The 5 AM Club' or using somatic cues during heavy lifting, I filter all information through a lens of what is actually sustainable for a busy, real-world schedule. My goal is to equip you with the tools to take care of yourself long after you stop paying for a coach.

I'm Parvathy. I’ve learned the hard way—dealing with PCOD, injuries, and the pressure to do it all—so you don't have to. I'm a coach who prioritizes your internal state as much as your lifting form.
