Step inside our studio to see how we blend traditional hand-embroidery with modern styling to create your perfect bridal look.

A behind the scenes look at a reception blouse for my bride, Sireesha. This video shows the intricate 3D flowers and the interplay of silk and net, all crafted with sequins and katdana to create a modern bling effect without using zardosi.

Here is a glimpse of a styling session. I am discussing with a saree draper how to best style one of my favorite Kanchipuram sarees for a bride's pre wedding rituals, like a bangle ceremony. We decided on fluffy pleats to give it a modern touch.

The final look from our styling session. The iconic Kanchipuram saree is draped beautifully to showcase the hand embellished blouse with puffed sleeves. This is a perfect blend of tradition and modern style for an engagement.

Exploring different ways to drape a saree can completely change a look. Here, we experiment with two different draping styles for my 'Kamalam' collection, showing how versatile a single outfit can be.

The final result of our styling. This elegant tissue organza saree, with its delicate thread embroidery and scallop edges, is perfectly styled with the intricately embroidered blouse from my 'Kamalam' collection.

A flat lay showing two different custom blouses ready for my clients. One is a deep blue velvet with pink floral embroidery, and the other is a heavily embroidered zardosi piece, showcasing the range of styles I create.

This lovely purple creation embodies our rich heritage. The blouse, with its puffed sleeves and intricate floral embroidery, is paired with a matching purple Banarasi saree, honoring the artistry woven into each detail.

About this collection

It is not just about the embroidery patterns on your blouse; it is about how the fabric sits and moves with your saree. During our studio sessions, we actively test different draping styles and accessory pairings, ensuring that the silhouette of your blouse perfectly complements the weave and weight of your chosen saree.

Every blouse we create undergoes a journey from a plain fabric swatch to a finished garment, and this cluster gives you a glimpse into that transition.

The Process of Crafting Your Look

When you visit our HSR Layout studio, the design phase is only the beginning. We focus heavily on the 'mechanics' of the wear—how the padding, the neckline, and the sleeve structure support the heavy embellishments like katdana, sequins, and zardosi. We often spend significant time on the 'styling' aspect, exploring how a Kanchipuram drape or a modern organza pleat changes the visual impact of the blouse's back design.

Why Styling Matters

Often, clients come to us with a specific motif in mind, like our 'Kamalam' or peacock designs. However, the true beauty emerges when we style that piece for the event. Whether it is adding a belt to a Kanchipuram set or adjusting sleeve lengths to ensure your jewelry stands out, we believe the styling is just as important as the stitch count. We treat every trial as a collaboration, adjusting the drape of the saree to ensure you feel confident and comfortable throughout your wedding functions.

Our Approach to Detail

  • Weight Balance: We ensure heavy embroidery does not pull the fabric, which is critical for long wedding hours.
  • Modern Bling: For reception looks, we frequently swap traditional zardosi for glass beads and 3D floral work to add depth without the bulk.
  • Collaboration: If you are unsure about the drape, we experiment with you until we find a silhouette that flatters your frame.
