Attacking is where the game changes. Whether it is perfecting your approach or mastering the jump, we build the power you need to spike with confidence.

Here is a look at one of our attacking drills. We start with footwork over the hurdles to build explosive power and then transition directly into a powerful spike at the net. This is how we train for game-like situations.

This is a fundamental spike training session. I am guiding the players through the proper footwork and approach to the net, ensuring they build a strong foundation for their attack.

A one on one session in Malleswaram, focusing on spiking technique. You can see the setter providing a perfect ball for the attacker to practice hitting different spots on the court.

This continuous ball attack drill is designed to improve stamina and consistency. Players go through the attack motion repeatedly, building muscle memory and the ability to perform under pressure.

Individual attack training is key to improvement. Here, I am working with a small group, correcting form and demonstrating the right way to approach and hit the ball.

We break down the attack into two key parts: contact and approach. This video shows a young athlete, Veda, practicing her jump and the moment of contact with the ball.

About this collection

We do not just teach kids to hit the ball, we teach them to read the court. In these sessions, we break down your spike into clear phases, specifically the approach, the jump, and that crucial contact point. When you train here, you stop guessing and start attacking with intent. Illi practice madidre, nimma game pakka improve aguthe.

Success on the court starts with strong fundamentals. We focus on transforming a player's attack from basic hitting into a strategic weapon.

What we focus on during training:

  • Approach & Footwork: We start with ladder drills and hurdle jumps. If your feet are not in the right position, you cannot generate power. We make sure your steps are automatic.
  • The Arm Swing: Using kneeling drills and stationary ball holders, we isolate the upper body movement. This builds muscle memory so that when you are in the air, your arm swing is fluid and fast.
  • Timing & Connection: Spike is a team effort. We run partner drills and setter-hitter connection sessions so you learn exactly when to launch for that perfect ball.

We train on professional indoor wooden flooring, which is vital for shock absorption and protecting young joints while they learn to jump high. Every session is high-energy, and we keep our coach-to-student ratio tight—maximum 1:15—so every single player gets individual correction on their posture, timing, and force. You will sweat, you will get tired, but you will see the results in your game.
