Summer Fencing Camp in Bengaluru
See what a real fencing summer camp looks like. We blend agility drills, footwork, and sparring into a high-energy routine for kids and adults at our Indiranagar and Peenya centers.
A summer camp should be full of energy and fun. Here you can see our young fencers engaged in dynamic agility drills using hoops and cones, building coordination and speed in a playful environment. We mix fundamental training with games to keep every session exciting.
Our summer camps are the perfect introduction to the world of fencing. This short video gives you a glimpse of the action at our Indiranagar and Peenya locations, where we welcome aspiring fencers to learn, train, and have fun starting from April 4th.
Many parents ask why fencing is good for their child. It builds fitness, boosts confidence, and instills a deep sense of discipline. This clip shows a one on one coaching moment, highlighting the personalized attention we give to even our youngest students to ensure they learn correctly and safely.
Our camp is for all ages, and we believe in starting them young. This video montage shows our youngest fencers learning everything from basic stances and footwork to gymnastics and conditioning exercises, building a strong athletic foundation from day one.
About Summer Camp in Action
We keep our Indiranagar batches strictly capped at 10 students because fencing demands precise, individual correction that large groups simply cannot provide. Whether we are working on basic footwork or introducing electric scoring, my team and I focus on the 'why' behind every movement so students understand the tactic, not just the physical action.
Fencing is not just about swinging a blade. It is a mental discipline, and our summer camp is designed to introduce this Olympic sport in a way that is accessible yet technically sound.
What You Will Learn
Our 4-week modules are structured to take you from a complete beginner to someone who understands the nuances of the strip.
- Week 1-2 (Foundation): We focus entirely on footwork and stance. You cannot fence if you cannot move. We use ladder drills and agility games to build the coordination needed for the lunge and retreat.
- Week 3-4 (Execution): We move to bladework and basic tactical strategy. In our Indiranagar center, we introduce electronic scoring gear, which gives students the instant feedback required to correct their form in real time.
Our Coaching Philosophy
All our programs are led by NIS-certified coaches who have worked with SAI. When you train with us, you are getting the same technical standards that national-level fencers receive. We keep the groups small for a reason—fencing is a highly technical sport, and improper form can be dangerous or frustrating. We prioritize safety, ensuring every student has access to proper masks, plastrons, and club-grade weapons.
Whether you are an adult looking for a new mental challenge or a parent wanting your child to learn discipline, you will leave this camp with a foundation in foil, epee, or sabre. We do not just teach you how to hit; we teach you how to think on your feet.
