About this collection

The Kodachadri trek is all about variety. You get the challenge of a 9km forest hike, the cooling spray of Hidlumane Falls, and the iconic, bumpy 4x4 jeep ride down the mountain. We handle the forest permits, the jeep transfers, and the homestay, so you can just enjoy the trails and the company.

Because we visit cultural sites like the poet Kuvempu’s ancestral home at Kavimane and the ruins of Nagara Fort and Kavaledurga, this trip is much more than a standard hike. The terrain changes constantly, moving from dense, muddy evergreen forests to open, windy grasslands, offering different views at every turn.

If you are joining us during the monsoon, be ready for leeches and slushy paths. Wear full-sleeve clothing and durable trekking shoes with good grip. We take care of the shared dormitory stay and all vegetarian meals, ensuring you are well-rested before the return journey. Our goal is to make sure you get the most out of your weekend without the stress of planning bus routes, tickets, or local transfers. We leave Bangalore on Friday night, giving you two full days to disconnect, make new friends, and explore the Western Ghats.
