About Kudremukh National Park Treks
Most people arrive at the trailhead ready for the views, but remember this is monsoon season. You will be crossing the Bhadra river and navigating muddy, steep slopes. We ensure all forest permits are secured in advance and provide experienced local guides, so your only focus is the climb.
The Kudremukh National Park is a vast expanse of dense Shola forests and rolling meadows, and it is a different world during the monsoon. Our treks here, like the popular Kurinjal trail, are a 14 km moderate journey that starts at the Bhagavathi Nature Camp.
When you trek with us, we take care of the entire end-to-end experience. Since this region requires strict forest department permits, we handle the paperwork for you. You do not need to worry about the logistics of reaching the remote trek base points from Bengaluru or finding a local guide.
The trail itself involves crossing the Bhadra river and pushing through dense forest cover before opening up to the Shola grasslands. The final stretch is a steep climb, but the view from the top is worth the effort. Expect mist, green valleys, and that wild, open air.
We leave Bengaluru every Friday night, so you can easily fit this into your weekend. We handle the transport, stay, simple vegetarian meals, and the 4x4 jeep rides required to reach some of the remote trek start points. Pack light, bring a raincoat, and let’s get you to the peak.
