About this collection
The route via Hidlumane Falls is the highlight, but it requires endurance to navigate the stream crossings and rocky terrain. We manage the logistics like permits and transport so you can focus on the climb and the view at the top.
Why Kodachadri? It is not just a climb. It is a journey into the heart of the Western Ghats. The path takes you through the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary, where the mist often clings to the trees, making the ascent feel like you are walking through the clouds.
The Hidlumane Route
Most trekkers choose the Hidlumane Falls route for the thrill. You will navigate rocky paths and cross multiple streams, with the waterfall itself being the perfect spot to catch your breath. The final ascent leads you to the Sarvajnapeetha temple at the summit.
The Plan
We depart from Bangalore on Friday night. The trek is moderate, so expect a good challenge. Once you reach the top, the 360-degree view of the Ghats makes every step worth the effort. For the descent, we often arrange a 4x4 jeep ride—a bumpy, high-energy experience that adds a unique layer to the adventure.
Logistics
We handle the transport, forest department entry permits, and accommodation. Whether you are coming alone or with a group, you will be part of a team, sharing meals and stories by the campfire. We prioritize safety and camaraderie, ensuring that the group dynamic is as good as the trail itself.
Plan The Unplanned
We started in 2016 because we were done with the 9-to-5 loop. Our trek leaders are basically your new buddies who know these trails by heart and make sure no one is left behind. You just show up, and we handle the bus, the permits, and the food.
